Welcome! We are AJ Heating & Cooling, a local business in the Michiana area. Our company started as a family business and has stayed that way since its inception. Our founder, AJ, began his journey in HVAC by getting a degree in heating, cooling, and refrigeration from South Bend’s Ivy Tech. For several years afterward, he worked for other HVAC companies in Michiana as he carefully honed his skills to become a very talented technician. Eventually, (in 1990) he ventured out onto his own where he started AJ Heating & Cooling Inc.

AJ’s commitment to quality service has been recognized throughout St. Joe and Elkhart County communities. He has repeatedly stated, “I believe that if I deliver quality... it will bring me the quantity I need to be successful.” That philosophy has served him and his company very well.

AJ believes in being extremely competitive. “I charge less than almost anyone in the industry if you compare apples to apples. I'm able to do that because I've been able to control my costs, including overhead.” This has kept AJ Heating & Cooling’s customers coming back for years. In fact, most of AJ’s customers eventually become his friends. “This is my opportunity to help people and really get to know them. Once they know me they realize they can trust me... and that is always the beginning of a great relationship.”
